"Waiting For Superman", from the creators of "An Inconvenient Truth", is a documentary which addresses issues in the American educational system. It was an amazing overview & something that I don't only think all teachers should see, but parents & students as well. A few more clips from the movie can be seen here.
At the end of the movie, the audience is invited to text a keyword to a given number in order to receive a $15 gift card code. You can then go to a website & donate that $15 to an educational charity of your choice. How brilliant! I donated my $15 code to Ms. L's art classroom in Brooklyn :]
